    Terms & Conditions of Trade

    Welcome to Pelicane Lane. These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and supply of all products through our platform and trade channels. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.

    1. Ordering & Product Specifications

    • Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and imagery are accurate. However, we reserve the right to supply goods that have undergone minor design or technical revisions by the manufacturer to improve quality or performance.

    • Pricing: All prices are subject to change. In the event of a significant shift in production or procurement costs, Pelicane Lane reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to order confirmation.

    • Availability: All orders are subject to stock availability at our central distribution hub.

    2. Shipping & Delivery Logistics

    • Complimentary Delivery: Orders exceeding $300 (ex-GST) qualify for free standard delivery within our designated metropolitan service areas.

    • Freight Charges: For orders under the $300 threshold, or for deliveries to regional and interstate locations, freight is calculated based on the cubic weight and destination. These charges are payable by the customer.

    • Delivery Conditions: Our standard delivery is to ground floor/loading dock only. Any costs associated with failed delivery attempts due to site inaccessibility or lack of a recipient will be passed on to the customer.

    • Transfer of Risk: Responsibility for the goods (risk of loss or damage) passes to the customer immediately upon delivery to the nominated address.

    3. Claims, Returns & Quality Assurance

    To ensure a swift resolution for any issues, we operate under a strict verification window:

    • The 10-Day Notification Rule: Any claims for transit damage, short-supply, or incorrect items must be submitted in writing within 10 business days of receipt. We cannot process claims lodged after this period.

    • Evidence Required: All claims must be accompanied by the original invoice number and clear photographic evidence of the goods and original packaging.

    • Change of Mind: Please choose carefully as we do not generally offer refunds for change of mind. If a return is approved at our discretion, a 15% Administrative & Restocking Fee will apply. Goods must be returned in their original, unopened condition at the customer's expense.

    4. Payment & Ownership

    • Payment Terms: Unless a formal credit account has been established, all orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch.

    • Title of Goods: Legal ownership of all goods remains with Pelican Lane until the total invoice amount has been paid and cleared in full.

    • Default: We reserve the right to suspend future deliveries or cancel pending orders for any accounts with an outstanding balance.

    5. Limitation of Liability

    • Warranty: Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

    • Liability Cap: Pelican Lane’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any consequential losses, including installation labour, project delays, or loss of profit.
